First off — I want to say thank you to everyone who’s been keeping up with NOIRXSOUND. I know it’s been a little quiet on here the past week, but sometimes life gets crazy and we all need to step back, breathe, and regroup. Music is always what pulls me back, and I couldn’t think of a better way to ease back in than with something that sets the tone for the season.
Fall is officially here, and with it comes a fresh start, new energy, and of course… new playlists. 🍂
Leaves & Late Nights is my latest curation — a soundtrack to fall that blends smooth R&B, neo soul, and rap to capture the feeling of transition. To me, fall is all about slowing down from the chaos of summer and embracing something more grounded. The playlist flows between reflective, chill tracks and a few upbeat ones to keep the vibe fresh and moving.
It kicks off with Drake & Majid Jordan’s Summers Over Interlude — a perfect bridge into cooler days and longer nights. From there, you’ll hear Frank Ocean, SZA, JMSN, Daniel Caesar, J. Cole, and Honne, alongside some underground gems that deserve more shine. The mix is soulful, thoughtful, and cinematic — perfect for late-night drives, sunset walks, or just zoning out with a cup of coffee.
Music has always been about discovery for me, but it’s also about creating a mood. Leaves & Late Nights is the kind of playlist that holds you through those fall moments — cozy, nostalgic, but with enough energy to keep you inspired.
